Today we celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity –   a day where we pause to contemplate the greatest of mysteries – the inner life of our God, a life of intimate, loving communion between the Father, Son, and Spirit.  And as we contemplate this we once again are reminded of that most important truth – that God is love, that God loves us beyond measure, and that we are invited to enter into that love and become one with God and one with each other.

So today we thank God for drawing us to Him, we accept God’s invitation to enter into the love of the Trinity, and we ask God to give us the grace to grow in love, communion, and solidarity with each other.

And on this Father’s day we also thank God for being a Father to all of us, and for blessing so many of us with the gift of our own children.  And we thank God for instilling in us an unconditional and selfless love for our children – a love that gives us a glimpse of the infinite love that God has for each of us.
