On this Mother’s Day, we honor all Mothers, including the Mother we all share.

Here’s a nice prayer from Saint John Eudes:

O Blessed Virgin, Mother of our God and Savior, we honor and revere you. Mother of mercy, ask your divine Son to have mercy on us. Atone for our failings, offering him on our behalf all the love and glory you ever gave him to satisfy for our neglect in loving and glorifying him. Grant that we may share in your surpassing love for him, and in the fidelity of that great maternal love. Pray for us, that he may give us the grace to begin, at least now, to love him perfectly.
